Angeles Chapter Sierra Club ~
Organized in 1911, the 56,000 member Angeles Chapter is the oldest and largest division of the Sierra Club. Today we are leading 32 different local conservation campaigns and also support the national club's major priority campaigns. Equally famous is our outdoor activities program, which annually leads more than 4,000 hikes, climbs, bus trips, and outings of all kinds, the majority of them for free to the public. Comprised of Orange County as well as Los Angeles, the Angeles Chapter has 15 geographic groups, 31 special outings sections, 3 lodges, and 24 conservation task forces.
